Mindfulness Week

Wellness Activity Week
This week is Wellness week. It is focusing on Mindfulness. Each day it is recommended that the boys do a few activities that they enjoy doing. The key to this is to spend as little time on screens and laptops. Pick and choose whatever you want to do. Hope everyone is keeping safe and well
Monday
  • Joe Wicks- YouTube
  • Sit outside for 30 minutes and read a book.
  • Play a board game at home (Chess, Snakes and Ladders etc)
  • Go for a walk for 30 minutes and just listen to what you hear while you are walking. Record all the sounds that you hear.
  • Go for a run/ walk/ cycle for 30 minutes
  • Write down things that you are thankful for.
  • Write down things that you can improve on.
  • Finish Weaving and Wellbeing book

 Tuesday

    • My School Year Memory Page
    • Mindfulness Colouring- see blog
    • Go for a run/ cycle/ walk for 30 minutes.
    • Finish Weaving and Wellbeing book.
    • Write down as many things as you can that you have improved on in the last 12 months.
    •  Bake something.
    • Do leaf rubbings using leaves on the trees.  
    • Sit outside and read something for 30 Minutes

Wednesday

  • Finish Weaving and Wellbeing book
  • Go for a run/ walk/ cycle for 30 minutes
  • Sit down outside for 30 minutes and listen. Close your eyes and record all the different sounds.
  • Write a piece about your favourite place and why it is your favourite place.
  • Put on relaxing music and colour some mindfulness sheets.
  • Draw a self portrait of yourself.
  • Sit outside and read something for 30 Minutes.

  • Listen to some of your favourite music. Ask yourself why do you like it.
  • Plant some seeds for flowers.

  • Write down some things that you would like to achieve by this time next year.
Friday
